Degradus is a speculative fiction podcast set in an apocalyptic world where science, corporate power, politics, and personal experience collide.

Told across a ten-part series of roughly one hundred episodes, the story follows seven interconnected characters as they navigate their own paths to survival in a dying world. Through their stories, Degradus explores resilience, struggle, community, and the consequences of a society in decline.

In Season One, we follow two perspectives:

And Claire Donovan, CTO of Cureon, one of the most powerful corporations in the world, where innovation and control are often indistinguishable.

Prison, Pills, and the Pursuit of Freedom. In Part Two of Degradus, three stories unfold:

Aria Wilder, an anti-plastics activist imprisoned for alleged acts of terrorism. By the time she's released, the world has been transformed by the DegP vaccine. She struggles to make her way home amid the chaos, only to find her mother dead and her father the leader of a terrifying cult.

Elizabeth Donovan, daughter of Cureon's CTO, Claire. Determined to escape her mother's shadow and the privilege that has defined her life, Elizabeth joins a rebel group whose target is Cureon, and everything Cureon stands for.

Maxwell Griffin, a low-level Cureon employee whose deal with the company's CEO, made to help his struggling community, pulls him into the center of a growing scandal. Somehow, he finds himself the head of an illegal black market syndicate.

As the fallout from the DegP vaccine spreads and a second crisis erupts across America, their paths begin to converge. Together, they'll discover what it really costs to stand against the powers that be.
